Padel Park Hamilton has completed construction of two additional courts, bringing their total to five. The expansion responds to growing demand that had the original three courts running at near-capacity during peak hours. A local league with 8 teams now runs across two divisions, and coaching sessions begin in April.
March 2026
Indoor Padel NZ has opened Auckland's first dedicated indoor padel facility with 3 courts. The indoor setup provides weather-proof play year round — a significant advantage in Auckland's unpredictable climate. Coaching and social events are being launched alongside court bookings.
March 2026
The Padel Club NZ in Papamoa has built what is arguably New Zealand's most engaged padel community. Over 150 active players in WhatsApp groups organised by skill level, weekly social mixers blending all abilities, and a member retention rate well above industry averages. Four courts serve the wider Bay of Plenty region.
February 2026
Auckland will host the second NZ Padel Open from April 12-14. Four divisions (Open, A, B, Social) ensure competitive matches for all skill levels. Last year's inaugural event attracted 64 teams and sold out within a week. Early registration is advised.
